Consorzio di Tutela Vini Doc Sicilia which elected the President confirming Antonio Rallo and the Vice-Presidents Giuseppe Bursi and Flippo Paladino.

A few days before the shareholders' meeting, the Board of Directors of the Consortium for the Protection of DOC Sicily wines elects the President and the Vice-Presidents.

Antonio Rallo is reconfirmed at the head of the Consortium for the protection of DOC Sicilia wines. The decision was made today, Thursday 9 March, during the first session of the new Board of Directors which also reconfirmed the two Vice-Presidents Giuseppe Bursi and Filippo Paladino for the three-year period.

"The Consortium's actions will have to be adapted to the challenges that the market requires and increasingly incisive with respect to the need to increasingly enhance Sicilian viticulture" - underlines the Vice President Giuseppe Bursi .

Thus the new course of the Board of Directors is completed, which saw the entry of Roberto Magnisi, director of Duca di Salaparuta and Florio and Giuseppe Figlioli, oenologist of the Birgi social winery, in place respectively of Laurent Bernard de La Gatinais of the Rapitalà and Nicolò winery Vinci from the Europa cellar.

The remaining ten were confirmed, i.e. the president in office so far Antonio Rallo (CEO Donnafugata), the vice presidents so far in office Giuseppe Bursi (president Settesoli) and Filippo Paladino (vice president Colomba Bianca) as well as the directors Vincenzo Ampola (president Cantine Petrosino), Gaspare Baiata (president of Paolini cellars), Salvatore Chiantia (president of La Vite cellar), Rosario Di Maria (president of Ermes cellar), Alessio Planeta (CEO Planeta), Letizia Russo (director Feudo Arancio) and Alberto Tasca (CEO Tasca d' Almerita).
