Consorzio Chianti: Busi reconfirmed at the top

The Board of Directors has confirmed Giovanni Busi at the top of the Consorzio Vino Chianti. His office will last until 2016. At his side, the vice presidents Ritano Baragli, president of the Colli Fiorentini Social Winery and Mino Niccolai, president Geggiano and Pontignano Winery.

These are the words of Busi: "Today, our industry is still suffering, and the global recession certainly does not help the wine sector, but we are slowly restarting", and Busi says:"We are indeed enjoying a good visibility thanks to the dynamism inherent to the Consortium. A crucial element? Prices, still looking the right balance able to meet all the related categories and the market, now we are about 130-140 Euros per quintal in tandem with the market that requires us the product".
