The problem of the non-disbursement of the non-refundable contribution for the agritourism companies that carry out the catering business which remained blocked during the lockdown of the past months has been resolved.

During a meeting that took place yesterday in the Regional Council building in Turin, the regional secretary of Agriturist Paolo Bertolotto , the governor Alberto Cirio , the councilor for tourism Vittoria Poggio and the councilor for agriculture Marco were present for Confagricoltura Piemonte Protopapa confirmed the administration's commitment to overcome the technical and bureaucratic difficulties that have hitherto prevented the granting of the contribution.

The Piedmontese farms that carry out catering - specifies Confagricoltura - are about a thousand, while in total the activities, including those that also dedicate themselves to accommodation with overnight stays, are just under 1300.

" Thanks to the confirmation of the commitment of the Region, which we have urged with constructive spirit in the past weeks - comments Enrico Allasia, president of Confagricoltura Piemonte - the foundations have been laid to reach a positive solution to the dispute that should ensure that within the summer, we hope, all the farms that carry out catering can obtain the bonus provided by Riparti-Piemonte. It is a support that we appreciate, not only from an economic point of view, but also from the point of view of the attention that the Region shows towards important sector that contributes significantly to the development of agriculture, tourism and the local economy ".
