Confagricoltura Piemonte Enrico Allasia confirmed as president for the next three years

Allasia will be supported by the vice president Paolo Dentis of None (Turin), confirmed in the post.

In his speech, in front of about fifty delegates, Allasia summarized the guidelines on which Confagricoltura Piemonte will move over the next three years. " We must be more present in society - said Allasia - to make citizens understand the economic and above all social role that the primary sector plays, in terms of safety of food supplies, environmental protection and landscape protection ". Allasia also confirmed the organization's commitment to maintaining a collaborative and dialectical relationship with the political and institutional world. Among the problems still unresolved is the problem of damage from wild animals to agricultural crops and, more and more frequently, also to populations and the territory; the poor spending capacity of the Region as regards the use of European funds, the slowness of the technical-administrative procedures, the excess of bureaucracy.

Allasia is also president of Confagricoltura Cuneo and of the Forest resources and poplar cultivation section of Confagricoltura Piemonte. Agricultural expert, married, two daughters, he is co-owner of "Allasia Plant" of Cavallermaggiore (Cuneo), a nursery-forestry company with production plants spread over several operating units nationwide, specializing in services to the energy crop chain, in particular wood biomass -cellulosic .

Allasia is also national councilor of the Poplar Growers Association, member of the National Poplar Commission and representative of Confagricoltura in the national table of the truffle supply chain.
