Giulia Peretti and Silvia Recalcati, chosen thanks to a set of icons designed for the Covid emergency, also oversaw the design of the Preview of Chiaretto di Bardolino and the rebranding of Asolo Prosecco

The Veronese Paffi studio of Giulia Peretti and Silvia Recalcati is among the realities included in the ADI Design Index 2020 , the publication that presents the best of Italian design selected by the Permanent Observatory of the Association for Industrial Design, the first step in the assignment process of the Compasso d'Oro Award , the most prestigious Italian award in the sector. The announcement of the nomination of the two professionals was given on Thursday 3 June in Milan by the ADI , which on 25 May also inaugurated, also in Milan, the ADI Design Museum-Compasso d'Oro , inside the which the Paffi studio was invited to exhibit its own poster dedicated to Guido Jannor, winner of the 1981 Compasso d'Oro for his career. The two designers from Verona landed on the Index instead their Coronavirus Emercency Iconset , a set of one hundred icons created at the beginning of the first lockdown and made available free of charge to the international community to make the rules of social distancing and health care in hospitals, public places and companies: the package was downloaded from more than 5,000 graphic studios and other users around the world. Graduated with honors in communication design at the Politecnico di Milano in 2016 with a powerful four-handed thesis entitled " DeFine Wine ", containing "an experiential feedback service format for a better understanding and communication of wine identity", Giulia Peretti and Silvia Recalcati made themselves known in the Italian wine and agri-food world for having created some recent successful operations , such as the Preview box of Chiaretto di Bardolino , which brought 50 miniature samples of the Garda pink wine to Italian and European journalists, and the creation of the Pink Wine emoji , presented by the Consortium for the protection of Chiaretto and Bardolino to Unicode Consortium, the Californian body that oversees the rules of computer writing. The rebranding of Asolo Prosecco also bears the signature of the Veronese studio, which took place at the beginning of 2020, the year then closed by the Asolo bubbles with a 10% growth that made them rise to fourth place among the Italian sparkling wines. Furthermore, Studio Paffi also presents the intervention on the new didactic icons of Monte Veronese Dop cheese .
