Cantina Colli Euganei has delivered the first 50 thousand euros raised thanks to the VO ' project for research to the University of Padua : two solidarity wines created to raise funds to be allocated to the Department of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology led by Professor Andrea Crisanti . The bottles, the Serprino Spumante DOC Colli Euganei and the Rosso DOC Colli Euganei, which well represent the winemaking tradition of the area, were presented in June and marketed at a price of 4.95 euros thanks to the collaboration of supermarkets and sales adhering to the project , where they can be purchased until the end of the year . For each wine sold, 1 euro is donated to the University of Padua - 50 cents from the cellar and 50 cents from the large organized distribution brands involved - and 10 cents to the Municipality of Vo ', with the aim of financing the country's economic recovery. and the revitalization of the territory. “Thanks to the VO 'project for research - declares Lorenzo Bertin , President of Cantina Colli Euganei - we can actively support scientific studies against Coronavirus through what we do best: wine.
