Chef of the Year 2014? Heinz Beck for Identità Golose

Heinz Beck deserved the title of Chef of the Year by Identità Golose 2014 for spreading Italian flavours in the world with attention to health and dining room serivice.

Heinz Bech has been crowned Chef of the Year at the tenth edition of Identità Golose, the International Conference of Gastronomy by Paolo Marchi.

“(...) in the La Pergola restaurant in Rome, the kitchen of Heinz is autentically greedy and rich, but also healthy and focused on well–being. The other mention, of equal value, is related to his dining room service, constantly very cordial and attentive to any detail that contributes to make dinners unforgettable”.

“We thought to reward this prize to Heinz – Marchi and Casimiro Maule of the Nino Negri wine company in Chiuro, Valtellina, said – because, in spite of being Italian by adoption, he, more than any other national cook, for 20 years has brought the excellence and the flavours of Italy beyond the geographical borders”.
