Matilde Poggi, former president of FIVI, has been elected Deputy Chairwoman of the Independent Winegrowers European Confederation (CEVI).
The election was decided at the annual meeting held in Montenegro, in which the French Thomas Mountains has been confirmed Chairman.
«The new board of the CEVI – Matilde Poggi comments – sees assignments distributed among a larger number of countries. The weight of France (that has always been the leading nation in the Confederation) is decreasing, and now only deserves the chairmanship».
