The 21st edition of the International Mountain Wines Competition (CERVIM) awarded only 210 wines: 8 great gold medals, 92 gold medals and 110 silver medals.
As well as two medal were awarded to Cembrani DOC wines:
-"Medaglia d'Oro per Dieci Vendemmie" to the Pelz Brothers Agricultural Company for their very special blend of aged Riesling, from ten different harvests.
-"Medaglia d'argento per il Müller Thurgau", a grape variety that in the Cembra Valley expresses at the best its characteristics of fruity flavour and minerality, especially over 650 meters, where the Pelz brothers grow it with great passion.
