Starting from tomorrow, until Sunday, June 8th, the producers of the Cembrani DOC will participate as special guests in the traditional winegrowers’ event in Castellina in Chianti: "Pentecost in Castellina".
The striking Via delle Volte will host on Saturday and Sunday afternoon the producers of
Castellina Chianti Classico and
Cembrani DOC offering the public a selection of
white wines of the mountains, such as Müller Thurgau, Kerner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Trentodoc.
The event will start tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. with "A CENA CON IL CLASSICO", a usual characteristic dinner in the medieval village, accompanied by the best Castellina Chianti Classico, and which he sees as aperitifs
Trentodoc and Müller Thurgau of the
Cembrani DOC.
Numerous are the corollary initiatives, from the market and exhibition of local artists and craftsmen in Piazza del Comune, to children’s entertainment, to street music and to the Philharmonic concert on Saturday, while on Sunday Castellina will host in the town’s streets a band gathering with parade and music greeting in Piazza del Comune.
At the Casce Park you will find the StreetFood Association with tasting counters, a real journey into Italian cuisine, accompanied by the best
wine products of Castellina in Chianti and of
Cembrani DOC
