Cantine di Verona presents Merlot Garda DOC Collector's Edition , a limited edition created to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the first harvest of Cantina Colli Morenici , which together with Cantina Valpantena and Cantina di Custoza constitutes the Verona cooperative group born in 2021. The label created for the occasion, it highlights the important milestone achieved by the cooperative of Ponti sul Mincio (Mantova) with precious golden details . “We have chosen to celebrate the sixty harvests of Cantina Colli Morenici with the Merlot Garda DOC Collector's Edition , a tribute to the work and commitment of our members in producing high quality wines every day – says Luigi Turco , President of Cantine di Verona – . Intense red in colour, Merlot Garda DOC Collector's Edition presents hints of plum, cherries, spices and leather on the nose, accompanied by notes of tobacco. On the palate the flavors of ripe fruit are revealed which harmonize and balance with acidity and tannins. The result is an elegant, well-structured and round wine, which is characterized by complexity and depth. The Merlot Garda DOC Collector's Edition , which will make its debut on the occasion of the celebrations scheduled for Saturday 15 July 2023 at the Cantina Colli Morenici headquarters, will be on sale at the price of 7 euros in the company wine shops .
