Bologna: Conference and webinar "Green White Paper: Rethinking Green in the light of climate change and the socio-economic development of cities"

Next 1 June 2023 , in Bologna, at the headquarters of the Emilia Romagna Region - Room XX May 2012, 3rd tower, Viale della Fiera 8 - with the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Bologna , Confagricoltura and Assoverde, with KÈPOS , in collaboration with CREA - Council for agricultural research and analysis of the agricultural economy, professional associations , the Public Gardens Association and the Villa Ghigi Foundation , organize the conference entitled White Paper on Green - HEALTH IS GREEN / GREEN IS HEALTH: Rethinking Green in the light of climate change and the socio-economic development of cities .

That of Emilia Romagna, with Bologna, constitutes the second regional stage of the 2023 path of the Green White Book , which follows the national presentation of the second edition of the Green White Book on 20 January in Rome. Focus 22/23 "Health Parks" for a neo-renaissance of Greenery and its Care" and the event held on February 22 in Milan, at the opening of MyPlant & Garden, for the presentation of the "Certification criteria for Health Parks", of the themes of the Focus 23/24 and of the new Kepos-White Book of Green Aps Association.

In line with and in continuity with the path of the Green White Paper, formally launched on 12 October 2021, the Bologna Conference, in the morning session, from 9.30 to 13.00 , focuses on a specific theme, with a Table roundabout entitled: "Rethinking Green in the light of climate change and the socio-economic development of cities" , involving the main institutional interlocutors and representatives of the sector, technicians and experts, together with companies and professionals from the area.

At the end of the works, at 13.00 , there is a transfer to the Villa Ghigi Park (by shuttle or independently) - up to the maximum number allowed and weather conditions permitting - and, from 15.00 to 17.30, guided tours of the Park in the company of experts of the Villa Ghigi Foundation, dedicated to the naturalistic and historical-landscape aspects of the public green area, to the methods of management and maintenance of the park - also in the light of climate change - and to the activities and projects carried out by the Foundation.

Participation in the afternoon program is expected up to the maximum number of members allowed . We therefore ask you to confirm your willingness to participate and the transfer method already in the registration format . The afternoon program is subject to weather conditions . The definitive confirmation will therefore be communicated close to the date to those who have expressed interest in participating.
