Giacomo Pittaluga won the Competition Best Sommelier in Liguria 2013. Pittaluga is Professional Sommelier at the Hotel Vis a Vis of Sestri Levante (GE).
The tests of the professionals were definitely challenging. After a written test that deepened many themes of regional, national and international wines, several practical tests followed.
For the first time there was also the non-professional sommelier category, where Olga Sofia Schiaffino won. She was able to combine technical skills and an enjoyable and captivating communication approach.
