On Friday 10 March in the Cucina Madre di Bellenda space in Vittorio Veneto, Massimo Zanichelli will present his new book La Montagna at 6.30 pm and will lead those present on a sensory journey to discover high-altitude wines through stories, the projection of photographs and the tasting. The Mountain is the first book in the series dedicated to the four elements of Italian wine - mountains, plains, sea and hills - an unprecedented work that offers a complete perspective on national enology. In this first volume the author wanted to tell, through dialogue with the producers and the tasting of over seven hundred wines, the highland viticulture of Italian wine, in an intense journey in stages from north to south of the peninsula, starting from the Valle d'Aosta to get to Etna, passing through Valtellina, Trentino and Alto Adige. All enhanced by a rich selection of photos with breathtaking scenery. “It is a pleasure to have a great author of wine as a guest, as well as a dear friend, like Massimo Zanichelli - declares Umberto Cosmo , owner of Bellenda - This appointment is a splendid opportunity to bring into dialogue two worlds very dear to us, that of wine and that of culture, as well as offering those present the possibility of embarking on a great journey in the Italian mountains by comfortably reading a book and perhaps thus planning the real one". During the evening, those present will be accompanied in the tasting of six wines paired with a selection of mountain cheeses and will receive a free copy of the book. The fee to participate is 30 euros. For info and reservations comunica@bellenda.it. Massimo Zanichelli is a professional taster, wine writer and documentary maker.
