At Expo 2015 we will toast with Franciacorta

Franciacorta will be the "official sparkling wine" of the universal exhibition



The Consortium of Brescia won the tender to become "official sparkling wine" of Expo 2015 thanks to the rich proposal of events that it will organize in Milan and in Franciacorta.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about wine and territory with its 250 producers of the Italian wine excellence in the world of bubbles.

«Thanks to the companies that have been close to Expo in recent years we have collected 370 million euro – the sole commissioner of Expo 2015, Giuseppe Sala, explained – with the Franciacorta Consortium we have a unique area at a stone’s throw from Expo and we want to spread knowledge also through tour operators that in a short time you can experience a unique place of Italian quality».

The investment of the Franciacorta Consortium for the projects to be carried out on the occasion of Expo 2015 is worth half a million euro.
