The Asti and Montferrat Wines Consortium of Protection presents at Vinitaly its plans for the future in a unique event, including high–level interventions and Michelin–starred specialities for tasting.

The Consortium aims to identify itself even more with the territory of Asti and with its flagship wine: Barbera.

To give voice to the many nuances of this DOCG, there will be the Consortium, with two performances that will combine art and haute cuisine. During the event you can attend the monologue "Barbera d’Asti, a story to tell", by Federico Francesco Ferrero. The winner of MasterChef Italy 2014 will interpret in an original way the emotions that this wine can arouse.

During the event, the international projects of the consortium will be presented by the the Chairman Filippo Mobrici and his Deputy Chairman Stefano Chiarlo who will speak of the "social" soul of this reality that wants to make its communication effective in every channel. Moreover, professionals will intervene, such as the oenologist Ezio Rivella and Stevie Kim, managing director of Vinitaly International, and institutional figures such as the President of the Piedmont Region Sergio Chiamparino and the Councillor for Agriculture of the Piedmont Region Giorgio Ferrero.
