At the 11th International Wine Competition, during the 27th Müller Thurgau of Cembra Wine Show, two silver medals were awarded to wines of Cembrani DOC, to say, to "Le Strope" Müller Thurgau Trentino DOC 2013 of Zanotelli and Müller Thurgau Trentino DOC 2013 of Alfio Nicolodi.
The awards were handed over to the winning wineries in the course of a special tasting–ceremony led by sommelier Adua Villa which took place on Saturday evening in the backdrop of the ruins of the Castle of Segonzano, in a unique setting overlooking the vineyards of Cembra in the presence of producers, AIS delegates, the press and a large audience.
Among all the award–winning wineries, there is a common thread: the value of the Müller Thurgau wine in single–variety, its strong durability, its role in the wine foreground as an important wine of distinctive sensory characteristics.
