Albana Dèi: the best dry Albana in Romagna

At "Albana Dèi" 56 wines were tasted, among which the best in the "La Moderna" ("The Modern"), "Lunghe Macerazioni" ("Long Macerations") and "Del Cuore" ("Of the Heart") categories stood out



In recent days, at Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna in Dozza, the awards ceremony of the third edition of "Albana Dèi", a wine competition reserved only to DOP Romagna Albana "dry" took place.

"Albana Dèi" wants to launch again the value of the DOP Romagna Albana "dry" as a way for the achievement of the oneness and uniqueness of this vine of high potential.



All awards:

To win the top position in "The Modern" category, "Cara Cara 2014" of Bandini Marco (Castel Bolognese), followed by "A" 2014 of the Monticino Rosso Farm (Imola), third position for "Romio" 2014 of Caviro (Faenza).



Among the Albana "Long Macerations" "Codronchio" 2012 of the Monticino Rosso Farm (Imola) stood out, repeating in this way the success achieved also in 2014. Second ranked, "Fiorile" 2013 of Fondo San Giuseppe (Brisighella), followed by "Alba della Torre" 2013 of La Sabbiona (Faenza).



The "Albana of the Heart" 2015 is "Fiorile" 2013 of Fondo San Giuseppe (Brisighella), while on the second step of the podium there is "Alba della Torre" 2013 of La Sabbiona (Faenza). Third place ex aequo for "Sabbia Gialla" 2014 of San Biagio Vecchio (Faenza) and "Arcaica 2013" of Paolo Francesconi (Faenza).



Fiorile, Codronchio and Arcaica are, in this order, the most successful wines among people in the three tastings.
