«94% of Italian people ask for information on the subject of food waste and 83% expects the introduction of a campaign of food education in schools»: this is what emerges from the Waste Watcher Observatory of Bologna.
«In Emilia Romagna, one every three citizens, 38% of the inhabitants, claims to have dramatically reduced food waste at home. But it is also true that in the Emilia Romagna region citizens seem to "master" food better than anywhere else in Italy: 41% of respondents declares to be of normal weight, compared to 35% of the Italians, and 55% declares to be overweight compared to 59% of the Italians». Starting from these data – according to the Observatory – strategic is the choice of Bologna to revive the need for a national campaign of nutrition education for schools and citizens: on Wednesday, December 3rd, it will do it with the awareness campaign of Last Minute Market "A year Against Waste".
