For the first time a winegrower leading the Gavi Wine Consortium, elected new Chairman
Maurizio Montobbio, winemaker, 45, is the new Chairman of the Gavi Consortium. Gavi is produced in 11 Municipalities of the Alessandria area, on about 1,500 hectares. The latest production was 13.6 million bottles, 80% destined for export.
