555 winemakers united in Friuli: great fusion in a single pole

Cantina di Rauscedo (Pordenone) and Cantina di Codroipo (Udine) have made a great fusion that gives birth to a regional wine center that associates 550 winemakers (400 current members of Rauscedo and 150 those of Cantina di Codroipo) who cultivate more than 1,200 hectares of vineyards.


Rauscedo is a historic cooperative winery and today the most advanced technologies for a qualitatively avant-garde vinification with a vinification capacity of 143,000 hectoliters and which in the last harvest transformed 175,000 quintals of grapes, of which 80 percent white berried.

Codroipo has a modern bottling plant with large surfaces that will double the current production capacity, equal to 20,000 quintals of grapes and 200 cultivated hectares.

Both Rauscedo and Codroipo have a sales point.
The merger will make it possible to reduce the cost of processing grapes by 15 percent.
