Wine Spectator awards the Gold Medal to the Milano Cortina 2026 wine list.

The authoritative American magazine, among the most influential in the world , promoted the list of 26 wines featured in the three hospitality houses at Casa Italia (Milan, Cortina d'Ampezzo, and Livigno) during the seventeen days of the Games. "A true celebration of Italian viticulture," says the article by Rachel Schnker (" The Winter Olympic Village's Casa Italia Is Pouring a Gold Medal Wine List ").

The LT Wine & Food Advisory team selected the 26 wines on behalf of CONI. For over two weeks, each label served as an ambassador for our country before a global audience who enjoyed a mosaic of biodiversity representing Italy's principal terroirs.

As Luciano Buonfiglio , President of CONI, always recalls in the article, “On these occasions, celebratory wine becomes a moment of cultural diplomacy, bringing with it the territory from which it comes, the story behind the label, Italian savoir faire —in a word, its uniqueness and authenticity."

These characteristics also emerged during the talk hosted at Casa Italia at the Triennale di Milano, promoted during the Games by LT Wine & Food Advisory. On this occasion, the elite of Italian wine discussed the theme " Italian wine teams up with an Olympic spirit – Italian fine wines, an identity that generates value, a vision that opens the world ." The event was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Francesco Lollobrigida , the President of the ICE Agency Matteo Zoppas , Giovanni Malagò, President of the Milano Cortina Foundation, Federico Bricolo , President of Veronafiere, Lorenzo Tersi, CEO of LT Wine & Food Advisory, along with numerous producers and stakeholders in Italy's wine sector.
