VINITALY AND THE CITY, THE EXTRA EXHIBITION THAT LIVES THE CITY

Tomorrow, Friday 20th, and until Monday, 23rd March, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., "Vinitaly and the City", the event that Veronafiere in collaboration with the City of Verona organizes for those who are not wine professionals but passionate of good and moderate drinking. Tasting ticket 10 euro. To get around the city, the city bus service will be available also in the evening and will be developed during the weekend. From Sunday, 22nd March, the 49th Vinitaly opens, with an even more restrictive registration system of operators at the entrance.

Three historic squares of Verona for "Vinitaly and the City", the event designed for the general public of wine lovers who want to live for four evenings the extra event of Vinitaly (the most important international exhibition of wines and spirits open, instead, only to professionals and industry operators).

From tomorrow, 20th Friday, and until Monday, 23rd March, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in Piazza dei Signori, in the Cortile del Mercato Vecchio and in the Cortile del Tribunale, originally vibrant centers of the political and administrative life of the town at the time of the Scala family and now meeting places of the youth of the city, 35 exhibitors coming from different regions of Italy will offer for tastings over 300 wine labels and many food specialties.

Music and entertainment in the "Vinitaly and the City Music Lounge" with Radio Number One and notes of folklore from Andalusia with the typical "venenciador" to pour wine.

With the Tasting Ticket, at a cost of 10 euro, you will be given a fine glass and 3 tasting coupons, one for each square. For those who are more curious, there is the Bis Ticket, with 4 free tastings in the circuit of "Vinitaly and the City". The Tasting Ticket gives the opportunity to buy directly from producers.

To facilitate the movement of thousands of wine lovers expected at the weekend, the city bus service of Atv–Azienda Trasporti Verona will be available, and in the evenings on Friday and Saturday lengthens its night operations covering also the time slot from midnight to 2:00 a.m. of the lines 90, 91, 94 and 98, which connect the center to the districts of the city (www.atv.verona.it).

From Sunday, 22nd March, to 25th March, however, the 49th Vinitaly edition opens to specialized operators coming from all over the world. This year, the international wine and spirits exhibition has made more selective the system of registration of people at the entrance, to ensure exhibitors the presence of quality professionals.
