  • 17/09/2020

Art and culture do not even stop in front of Covid.

To testify this strong desire to start again is the massive membership of DivinArte, in Nepi on 3 and 4 October.

The extraordinary Rocca dei Borgia will reopen its doors for the event, in its fifth edition, hosting almost forty artists.

The formula of the exhibition, which will be carried out in complete safety in full compliance with the regulatory requirements, remains unchanged: a winning mix between wine and culture.

This year the event will be dedicated to Raphael, the art of beauty, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death.

There will be two days of appointments, video projections, musical and artistic performances.

The event will be opened on Saturday at 6 pm by the journalist, former director of Rai 2 and current director of the newspaper “La Mia Città News”, Giovanni Masotti and the presenter Isoradio Rai Rossella Diaco.

Among the guests who will intervene during the event: the art historian director of the Diocesan Civic Museum of Acquapendente Andrea Alessi and the artists Alessio Paternesi and Matteo Montani.

The suggestive setting of the Fort will be the backdrop to a high-quality collective exhibition with sculptures, paintings and installations while the numerous artists present will give life to impromptu performances and very interesting guided tours will be organized inside the Rocca with the possibility of visiting the tower called "Mastio".

DiVinArte also supports the project "The Treasure of the Cathedral" by the cultural association Opera3 for the conservation and enhancement of the precious works that belong to it.

During the days of the event, therefore, it will also be possible to participate in guided tours inside the Cathedral

The cultural program will be accompanied by the oenological one, with unmissable tastings of oenological excellence at national level.

Admission to the event is free.

With a ticket of 13 euros instead, you can take advantage of 12 wine tastings with a glass and free glass holder shoulder strap.

The event is organized by the AmorArte association, with the artistic direction of the president Simona Benedetti, and is organized in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association AIS of Viterbo, and the patronage of the Municipality of Nepi and the Proloco.
