TUSCANY LAND OF FINE LIVING (TOSCANA TERRA DEL BUON VIVERE), the three days of enogastronomic culture and conviviality that will take place in Siena from 27th to 29th March, exceptional preview of Expo 2015, an event promoted by the Tuscany Region in collaboration with the Municipality of Siena and the Chamber of Commerce of Siena and organized by Artex.

Protagonists of the event are food, agri–food products and Tuscan cuisine, in a context of great historical and artistic value and of life quality; witnesses of a healthy and authentic lifestyle and in a logical confrontation with a European and contemporary gastronomic culture.

Testimonial of the event is the Michelin–star–awarded chef Marco Stabile, owner of Ora d’Aria in Florence, in collaboration with the prestigious JRE, Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe, the European association that brings together innovative chefs, interpreters of the territory and the culinary heritage in a contemporary way. Tuscany Land of Fine Living will take place within some of the most evocative and prestigious places in the city, bringing together Consortia of the territory, local products of excellence, chefs, cooking shows, tastings, reinterpretations, wine tastings, guided tours, to the heart of the wonderful Palazzo Pubblico and from there moving to the city, from the university to museums.

A "weekend of the heart" devoted to the TUSCAN FINE LIVING in a cosmopolitan and cosy at the same time Tuscany, that is told by mixing high gastronomy and great wines, excellent products and quality of the environment, supremacy of its agricultural heritage, biodiversity, but also art, word, architecture. In summary, the laboratory of Fine Living, a reserve of emotions.

«Tuscany continues its path towards Expo 2015 – the regional assessor for agriculture, Gianni Salvadori, explains in a press conference – with events of great appeal and prestige. Therefore, Siena will be an exceptional showcase of an intense three–day event of initiatives in the name of quality, typicality, promotion of culture, territories and the best traditions in a setting of rare beauty. So Tuscany Land of Fine Living is playing its best cards convinced to be able to introduce itself with a significant added value incorporating the theme of the Exhibition. Because the Planet must be nourished well, and regarding the issue of energy for life, the Tuscany style can be an example to follow».

Great satisfaction also for the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Siena, Massimo Guasconi: "I thank the Region that choosing Siena for this preview event of Expo 2015 has chosen a territory that, with regard to food and wine production in particular, embodies the excellence recognized in Italy and in the world. We ourselves want to be a unique showcase for all certified productions of quality and for the wines expression of excellence that this area boasts. At Tuscany Land of Fine Living the whole system will be involved at various levels: from production to processing, to accommodation, in the name of a texture that, as a whole, embodies the essence of the good life".

Marco Stabile, Tuscan Michelin–star–awarded chef, testimonial of the event, is involved in the organization of the event’s program and will coordinate all the panels with the JRE chefs. "I involved young European restaurateurs to understand the Italian and European point of view on our Tuscany. It will be fun to see how they see us and especially their interpretation of Tuscany. This will be done through a series of live performances. We will work around the WINE product, the excellence everyone automatically has in mind thinking about Tuscany. Wine will be the focus of our work in the three days. But not only in the glasses, even in the pot. Cooking with wine, in effect, will be the challenge for students of all hotel schools.

And many things more, from the TIPI DA PICI contest for food bloggers and amateur cooks and combinations in the kitchen of Producers and Cooks up to At the Table with the Chef, dinners with invitation for the chefs in homes in Siena. Then, there is a surprise to which I am working, along with two other well–known Tuscan colleagues, Cristiano Tomei and Filippo Saporito. With a joke I would say it is the "main dish" of Tuscany Land of Fine Living, it is the "Dish of Fine Living", it will be an absolute preview, a dish that will become ambassador of contemporary Tuscany at the table and we will be launching right in Siena".
