The new project of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna aims to promote wines, companies and the territory

Postcards from Romagna is a new project of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna which will see Romagna wine producers as protagonists. The portal www.cartolinedallaromagna.it, online for a few days and in continuous implementation, collects in a map 100 wineries, cultural points of interest, almost 200 restaurants and 80 historic and artisan shops that host the wines of Romagna and celebrate this wonderful land, between the green of the hills and the blue of the sea, passing through the luxuriant plain. The map will be gradually enriched with interactive contents, to reach the possibility of creating itineraries that link taste, beauty, art and history (in progress and available in autumn).

The President of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, Ruenza Santandrea, says: " We started from an idea of Romagna that is in everyone's heart, to then combine it with the present, especially on social media and traditional media with an innovative and young graphic idea , which intrigues and invites you to visit and learn about a wine-territory system that promotes the excellence of producers: each and every one, with their uniqueness and their way of welcoming and making wine. Because Romagna is a hospitable place and its countless and evocative panoramas, as well as the villages in which history has left splendid traces and the splendid sites rich in art and culture. And wine is one of the happy symbols that distinguishes it and tells it ».

The first postcards from Romagna in paper format were distributed in the cellars and in the points of interest. An invitation to those who live this land and to those who come to visit and consider wine one of the best witnesses to understand the identity of our places and our protagonists. An approach that wants to highlight the quality of our wines, for a growing interest especially on the part of younger generations and a strong desire for conviviality.

Why exactly postcards? The President continues: « We were looking for a symbol-pretext that would take life from historical images and then gradually decline them to the present and to the future, to bring to know our places of art, culture and holidays and an essential combination of food and wine. An element, postcards, which still today is interesting for younger generations, even if transferred to the digital world, on Instagram message boards or Facebook profiles. This is why the approach is intended in a double direction: the search for characters, art and history of our countries and cities and a sign of color that contrasts, awakens the gaze and takes us into another dimension, alive, with a language that it recalls pop art, to convey conviviality and joy ».

Since 1962 the Consorzio Vini di Romagna has brought together wineries, wineries and wine producers in order to protect the production of Romagna, supporting the quality of wines, the balance of prices and the enhancement of the product and its territory.
