Open Cellars Together between virtual and real meetings, the cellars have welcomed numerous local food and wine enthusiasts Very positive balance for the 2020 formula in the name of responsibility
The 28th edition of Cantine Aperte took place on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May: two days of discovery of Friulian viticulture with an unprecedented formula that has managed to combine virtual and social meetings on real and regional farms. The reception in the cellar and in the vineyards this year has been characterized by small groups of local wine enthusiasts who have booked their visits, showing great attention and responsibility to the particular moment we are experiencing.
" It is the quality wine enthusiast that has chosen Cantine Aperte Insieme, curious and ready to get to know our territory and our wine culture also through the social pages of the member companies ", underlines the President of the FVG Movement Elda Felluga. " We are happy and satisfied with the result: the real presences in the cellars were good, the Dinners with the Winemaker were in great demand this year too, demonstrating the strength of this format, the maximum expression of the food-wine pairing. We felt the joy of to be together again to share convivial moments in safety and relaxation. The moment of general union was not missing through the virtual toast of the National Wine Tourism Movement which involved companies from north to south (#CantineAperteInsieme). Special thanks to the our wineries that have activated themselves with great professionalism and enthusiasm to make this weekend safe and pleasant, which kicked off the wine tourism events in the region and which we hope will soon be able to host the many "wine lovers" out of town who love our excellent wines and our wonderful territory A heartfelt thanks also to the staff of the Wine Tourism Movement FVG incessantly strove for the success of the event. An important team game that has paid off. Finally, I would like to thank the Friuli Venezia Giulia region together with PromoTurismoFVG and Civibank for the fundamental support and support given to the event also in this particular situation ".
An excellent sign in view of the forthcoming initiatives of the FVG Wine Tourism Movement, such as Open Vineyards - scheduled for the summer - event during which meetings and convivial moments will be privileged, always in the name of safety, in the beautiful vineyards of our region: a opportunity for all Italians to get to know and appreciate our multifaceted food and wine excellences.
