Masi Wine Bar in Cortina the summer season starts

The Masi Wine Bar "Al Druscié" in Cortina d'Ampezzo, pearl of the Masi Wine Experience , managed in collaboration with Tofana Srl , will reopen to the public from 4 July . Located in Col Druscié, at the first stop of the new Freccia nel Cielo cable car, the Masi Wine Bar has reached its second season of activity and is now an indispensable destination for mountain and food and wine tourism lovers, with its exclusive combination of fine wines from the Masi Cellars and Venetian culinary excellence.

"Al Druscié" presents itself to tourists with a new dress: a first novelty concerns the external spaces of the structures, which have been enlarged and totally renewed to better meet the needs of the public and respect the safety protocols. Four terraces have been created in the area adjacent to the room, where guests can enjoy an unforgettable experience, in a unique landscape context, at 1778 meters, with a spectacular view of Cortina and the Dolomites.

Not only that, for summer 2020 there are many initiatives that await visitors. In synergy with Tofana, there is a schedule of events that will have slow tourism as their main themes, to find authentic contact with nature responsibly, and taste.

The program includes a series of activities by reservation, from "high altitude Yoga" in Col Druscié, to Forest Bathing : a real "forest bath", an immersion in the greenery that ends with a special dinner. The appointments with the Helmut Ullrich Astronomical Observatory also continue, which will host a 16 "f / 8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope for visual observation of the deep sky and planets, and with Astrocene , a guided tour together with an astronomy expert to discover the secrets of the firmament, combined with a selection of specially made wines and dishes. Do not miss the "Masi in the round" event , a journey in the universe of Bacchus with an expert sommelier, to discover the different nuances of the wines of the Masi Cellars.

Food and wine will naturally be at the center of the Masi Wine Bar's summer offer: the new menu will offer a wide range of tasting courses of local specialties, combined with the best selection of Masi labels. The wine list will include classics such as Amarone Costasera and Campofiorin and, in keeping with the season, will feature whites among its protagonists; in particular the last born in the Masi family, the Lugana Lunatio and Beldosso , two wines organic from vines grown in the sign of sustainability, a theme to which the Venetian winery has always paid the utmost attention. The use of wine as an ingredient finds in this menu high expressions in dishes such as sliced beef bavaria glazed with Toar , or pigeon breast and leg with chard, cherry and Vaio Armaron reduction, or, again, the vitello tonnato with capers and caramelized onion at Passo Doble .
