HOSPITALITY FAIR AT WE MAKE FUTURE AWARDS L'INSOLITO POSTO, WINNER OF THE HOSPITALITY AWARD - INCLUSIVITY AND HOSPITALITY

L'Insolito Posto di Saonara, in the province of Padua, wins the first edition of the Hospitality Award – Inclusività e Accoglienza , the recognition born with the aim of valorizing the best Italian projects of truly accessible hospitality. The award is the result of the collaboration between Hospitality – Il Salone dell'Accoglienza , the leading international event in Italy for the hotel and restaurant industry organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, and WMF – We Make Future , the largest Italian fair dedicated to digital innovation.

Selected from numerous applications from all over Italy – campsites, glamping, B&Bs, guest houses, agritourisms, hotels and event locations – L'Insolito Posto stood out for its ability to integrate inclusion, innovation and social sustainability.

The jury - composed of Giovanna Voltolini , Exhibition Manager of Hospitality – Il Salone dell'Accoglienza, Roberto Vitali, CEO and co-founder of Village for all – V4A®, and Domenico Castaldo , Innovation Manager of Search On Media Group - declared L'Insolito Posto the winner for the coherence and quality of the proposal, but also for having obtained a broad cross-sectional consensus, demonstrating a perfect balance between direct social impact, integrated accessibility, work inclusion and replicability potential.

Located in Saonara (PD), L'Insolito Posto is a social holiday home, classified with 4 Lions (the Venetian winged lion is the symbol chosen by the Veneto Region for the classification of B&Bs) entirely free of physical and sensorial barriers thanks also to voice commands, advanced home automation, Braille signage, acoustic, visual and vibrating warnings, double-height reception desks, tables also accessible to wheelchairs.

The facility, consisting of 7 rooms for a maximum of 24 beds, is designed to guarantee hospitality accessible to all , in a context where the autonomy, comfort and dignity of the guest are central. The spaces and designer furnishings are designed for a heterogeneous clientele so that the person with disabilities does not feel in a hospital setting and the able-bodied person in a protected place. Everyone can move independently and live a unique experience.

This is accompanied by a management model that provides for the employment and training of people with disabilities or in conditions of social disadvantage , offering them tasks in the hotel and restaurant sector. The activities, carried out in collaboration with the Work Integration Service of the ULSS 6 Euganea Company, allow workers to acquire skills useful for reintegration into ordinary work contexts.
