At the family estate in Col San Martino, a hamlet of Farra di Soligo in the province of Treviso, Follador Prosecco has welcomed guests as if they were at home since 1769: with presence, care, and a desire to share something authentic. The wine tourism offering is divided into three distinct itineraries , all by reservation, all rooted in a hilly landscape recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. Designed for those who want to experience Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG through the places and people that represent it.

The first tour, Wine Tasting , is a welcome and tasting experience of the winery's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, a first step into the world of Follador and its philosophy.

The second, Between History and Innovation , combines the tasting with a tour of the winery and production facilities. Guests gain a firsthand experience of the winemaking process using the Gianfranco Follador® Method, the registered technical protocol that involves immediate chilling after pressing, a brief cryomaceration to extract structure and aromatic precursors, and extended aging in an autoclave beyond the minimum time required by the Charmat method. It's the story of a family-run winery where every choice reflects a precise vision, far removed from the logic of large-scale production. The third tour, Tasting with a View , leads guests outside the winery and directly among the vines of the Torri di Credazzo Cru: an open-air tasting, with the hills of the World Heritage Site as the backdrop to an experience that is, above all, an encounter with the landscape.

The Follador family welcomes guests to their estate. Michele, Cristina, Emanuela, and Francesca Follador are the ninth generation of a winemaking family that has cultivated these hills since 1769, the year Giovanni Follador received official recognition for the quality of his wines from the Doge of Venice, Alvise IV Mocenigo. More than two and a half centuries later, the estate remains family-run, with responsibilities shared among the four siblings: Michele oversees the technical and design aspects, Cristina handles communications and exports, Emanuela oversees administrative matters, and Francesca oversees oenology. It was Francesca, along with Michele, who developed the Metodo Gianfranco Follador® after research begun in Montpellier, where the need to protect the aromatic integrity of the must in response to rising temperatures necessitated a rethink of winemaking, beginning with pressing.

The estate's forty hectares of vineyards are spread across the hilly area between Col San Martino and Credazzo, on mixed clay and rock soils with southwest exposures and slopes that preclude any form of mechanization in the harvest. Harvesting is done by hand, out of necessity rather than choice, and this direct connection with the vineyard is part of what guests experience when they walk among the rows of vines of the Torri di Credazzo Cru: a landscape sculpted by the work of man generation after generation, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Coming to Col San Martino means taking home something not found on the label: the memory of a place, the faces of its inhabitants, the flavor of a wine rooted in a family and a territory that have been passed down for over two centuries.
