Then there's the romantic carriage tour with aperitif organized by Agriturismo Randis in Arta Terme, for a timeless stroll through fragrant woods, mountain views, and rejuvenating silence. These and many more are the summer offerings in the Zoncolan district—which encompasses Sutrio, Paluzza, Timau, Cercivento, Ravascletto, Comeglians, Ovaro, and Treppo Carnico—including excursions, visits, and themed walks for all tastes and fitness levels, exploring the environment, history, culture, legend, and much more .

Climbing for kids and historical/naturalistic excursions in Ravascletto

Among this summer's new activities for adults and children are a series of experiences in Ravascletto . An authentic and fun experience for the whole family is the Fresh Milk Mission (every Tuesday). At Manuel Moro's farm, little ones can experience the magic of the farm up close: feeding calves, milking goats , and discovering, through play, how life on the farm works. For little ones who want to try something new, there's a children's climbing introduction on Mondays and Fridays in the artificial rock gym near the Zoncolan cable car station. This activity is designed to introduce them to the world of climbing in a safe and stimulating environment, with games, movement, and lots of fun. For sports enthusiasts, there are wonderful guided excursions on foot or by bike: Hyke-Bike Panoramica delle Vette , a cycling adventure between nature and history, a journey through pastures, glacial lakes, and trenches with a short walk at high altitude (August 13); A historical/nature hike in Valsecca , a medium-easy circular route suitable for everyone, along trails and amidst hidden panoramas (August 16th); a circular trek from Valsecca to Monte Crostis along the spectacular Alta Via delle Vette , amidst breathtaking views (August 21st); a valley-floor hike to discover the trails and charming villages of Ravascletto, suitable for everyone (August 27th). The "The Woods Tell Their Stories" treasure hunt , which can be done independently along a valley-floor trail from August 10th to 20th, is fun for both adults and children. Visit Zoncolan offers a variety of experiences according to a monthly calendar, starting with themed excursions with guides who lead daily on scenic walking or cycling routes to discover breathtaking views, villages, mountain huts, and pastures. The Zoncolan area is dotted with mountain huts where, from June to September, the herds are brought to the mountain pastures and where you can purchase delicious, authentic cheeses and other products. Among others, a lovely walk leads to the Meleit mountain hut, where you can watch cheese being made and purchase it. The program includes horseback riding, nature hikes to discover herbs, nighttime walks in the woods by lantern light, the evocative "Sunset from Cima Tamai" excursion where you can enjoy the spectacle of the sunset over the peaks, and the "Fattoria Diffusa" (Farmhouse) where children can get up close to the animals. But also walks to discover small charms of history and art, such as the exciting one at the House of 100 Windows by Mione in Ovaro , a historic building that fascinates with its unique architecture and the stories it tells.
