The third edition of DoloViniMiti , the vertical wine festival that enlivened the weekend in the Cembra Valley and the Fiemme Valley , concluded on Sunday.
Thanks also to the good weather, which created a real "Octoberfest" with sunshine and temperatures above the seasonal average, there was an excellent attendance.
If the Wine Trekking Gourmet confirms its status as a guarantee, with almost 200 people who were able to discover the valley's mountain huts and vineyards with quality food and wine stops managed by local chefs - including the starred Alessandro Gilmozzi - and professional AIS sommeliers, the other events were also sold out .
The opening conference , dedicated to a discussion of heroic viticulture between geographically distant but conceptually close territories, drew around 80 people to listen to presentations by Nicolas Bovard from the Aosta Valley , Isabella Pelizzatti Perego from Valtellina, Giacomo Cappellini from the Cinque Terre , Hannes Baumgartner from Alto Adige, Nicola Zanotelli representing the Cembra Valley, and Walter Webber, CERVIM Trentino Alto Adige delegate. The speakers were moderated by television and radio host Andrea Amadei . The guests applauded the sense of community developed in the Cembra Valley in recent years and the networking efforts being carried out with various operators in the sector, but also the desire to open up to dialogue with the outside world, with a view to learning and growth.
The masterclasses , both attended by around 50 wine lovers , were highly appreciated. From the one with Francesco Saverio Russo , where the various wines of the Cembra Valley were combined with those of the "heroic" guest territories , to the new 2025 interactive masterclass led by Fabio Gobbi and Francesco Bonomi : a completely new and highly engaging format that led to a serious yet fun approach to tasting, perfect for encouraging an understanding of a world that is often perceived as distant by non-industry experts.
Another new event that was a great success was “ Spiriti in scena ”: an absolutely original event which, thanks to the skill of the actress Federica Chiusole , was able to tell the world of Trentino grappa and the life stories of distillation in the Cembra Valley with a fresh and unconventional approach, in the exclusive setting of the Pilzer Distillery and accompanied by an absolutely excellent food proposal created for the occasion by Stefano Tait of La Dispensa del Gusto .
With the MozARTWINEExperience offered by Miscele d'Aria , the public was able to embark on an immersive sensory journey through headphones to discover the wines of the valley, where plays of light, Mozart pieces rearranged in a modern key and performed live by Carlo Casillo and Nicola Fadanelli, and the evocative narration of Mariano De Tassis and Wine Educator Aurora Endrici created a unique atmosphere.
We were also delighted to see everyone join us for the " Breakfast with the Author " event, designed to present Michael Moser's novel "Vite nei campi." During the conversation, hosted by Viviana Brugnara , the historic rooms of Palazzo Maffei were transformed into a " taste lounge " featuring refined delicacies from the Zanotelli pastry shop, offering a unique and truly enjoyable cultural experience.
Finally, there was trekking on the Lavazè plateau in Val di Fiemme, where around thirty people were able to admire the local woods and pastures, taste cheeses and cured meats and close the four days with a fitting toast.
"We're truly delighted with the turnout," explains Vera Rossi , president of the Valle di Cembra Tourist Association, which is organizing the event with the support of the Fiemme Cembra Tourist Board. "We're not aiming for large numbers, in keeping with our tradition of slow tourism and rural landscape, but for quality tourism that can attract visitors to our vineyards who fall in love with our terraces and our products and want to return. We feel, once again, that we've achieved that goal."
"DoloViniMiti confirms that the collaboration between Fiemme and Cembra is absolutely successful," adds Giancarlo Cescatti, director of the Fiemme Cembra Tourist Board , "because our regions, besides being physically adjacent, are absolutely complementary, both in terms of landscape and production. And for a tourist, being able to travel between them and experience both within a single tourism experience is certainly an added value."
