CONTE COLLALTO WINERY: THE UNMISSABLE SUSEGANA CASTLES MARCH RETURNS

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, the most popular non-competitive walk in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and beyond, the Marcia dei Castelli di Susegana, will be held again. Organized by the Gruppo Podistico ASD La Piave with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of the Conte Collalto winery.

The name of the March perfectly captures the symbols of the area in which it will take place. The March, now in its 29th year , returns as the most anticipated event of the Treviso spring, and thanks to its fun, non-competitive, and sporting nature, it is greeted each year with great public success, confirming its strength year after year.

Passing through the village of San Salvatore, which, with its namesake castle, dominates the panorama also made famous by the Cima di Conegliano, represents a unique opportunity to be captivated by the enchantment of this landscape, known for being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There will be three main routes through the fortified village, residence of Princess Isabella Collalto de Croÿ. The routes wind through vineyards, hills, woods, and dirt roads, crossing the Collalto hills, offering participants an extraordinary opportunity to experience one of the most evocative monumental complexes in the Veneto up close.

For the first time in the history of the event, entry will be through the Clock Tower , which has never before been used as an access point: a new and highly evocative passage that will make this edition truly memorable.

The Marcia dei Castelli offers three scenic hilly routes , in addition to a dedicated children's route: the most challenging is 19 km with an elevation gain of up to 390 m, the second is 13 km with an elevation gain of 280 m, and the easiest is 7 km with an elevation gain of 120 m. There's also a route designed for families with children, featuring a 4 km flat section, suitable for strollers, starting at 9:10 am.

The final refreshment stop at the Cantina Conte Collalto has also been confirmed for 2026. This convivial moment, much appreciated by participants, is set against the picturesque backdrop of the Susegana hills. There will also be refreshment points along the way, medical assistance with the Red Cross, doctors and ambulances, and support services along the entire route.

During the event, the Collalto Store , the company's sales point, will be open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, offering the possibility of purchasing wines and typical products directly from the cellar.
