CONSORZIO VALTÈNESI | PROFUMI DI MUST CELEBRATES ITS 25TH EDITION

Profumi di Mosto, the event promoted by the Consorzio Valtènesi – Riviera del Garda Classico, returns on Sunday, October 4th. It celebrates the grape harvest and the winemaking heritage of the Brescia Riviera of Lake Garda. The event, which kicks off the autumn season, will involve 24 wineries, which will open their doors to enthusiasts for a day of tastings, hospitality, and discovery of the region.

" Profumi di Mosto represents one of the most significant events for our region because it authentically illustrates the connection between wine, landscape, and people, " says Paolo Pasini , president of the Valtènesi Consortium . " For twenty-five years, this event has opened the doors of our wineries and allowed the public to experience firsthand the work of the producers, the richness of our winemaking tradition, and the uniqueness of a denomination that finds its most authentic expression on the Brescia shores of Lake Garda and the hills of Valtènesi. It is an experience that combines wine culture, hospitality, and discovery of the territory, helping to strengthen our area's wine tourism vocation ."

Among the moraine hills between Desenzano del Garda and San Felice del Benaco, passing through inland and lakeside towns, visitors can freely create their own itinerary, choosing to visit one or more wineries or embarking on one of nine themed tours designed to guide the public in discovering the diverse facets of the appellation. At each stop, wine will take center stage, accompanied by culinary offerings designed to showcase its characteristics and identity.

The initiative offers the opportunity to connect directly with Valtènesi winemakers, learn about the distinctive features of native grape varieties, including Groppello and Tuchì, and delve deeper into the denomination's winemaking heritage through stories, tastings, and discussions.

This year's edition also features a special experience for those who choose a ticket for two wineries or one of the three-stop tours: access to an exclusive event at the Casa del Vino, scheduled for October 31st, which will allow them to further explore the Valtènesi appellation.

Profumi di Mosto thus confirms its reputation as a model for wine tourism capable of enhancing the entire region, inviting visitors to experience it slowly, amidst vineyards, villages, lake views, and authentic encounters with those who daily preserve and interpret the identity of Valtènesi.
