Yesterday, Tuesday, November 4th, Avignonesi welcomed the wineries of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Consortium , local restaurateurs , and wine merchants to Le Capezzine for a meeting dedicated to dialogue and collaboration. This was a moment of discussion and sharing between producers and operators, culminating in a convivial dinner, which aimed to strengthen ties within the local community and foster new synergies between entities united by a commitment to quality and responsible viticulture.
The event took place in the historic headquarters and beating heart of the Tuscan winery, a symbolic place of the connection between rural life and innovation. Founded in the 19th century by the patron and philanthropist Angelo Vegni as a model farm and training center, Le Capezzine has always been a hub for experimentation and shared growth. Today, thanks to the path undertaken by Avignonesi, this place is once again an open space for exchange between agriculture and culture : a laboratory where producers, students, professionals, researchers, and citizens can meet, share ideas, and imagine new perspectives together.
The initiative represented the first step in a broader project aimed at creating a stable meeting point between production, research, creativity, and the local community . At the heart of this journey are themes such as care, listening, landscape, sustainability, and responsibility towards future generations—values that are part of Avignonesi's DNA and guide its regenerative and participatory vision for the surrounding environment.
In the coming months, the estate will continue to open up to the local community, hosting opportunities for discussion, education, and shared inspiration. 2026 promises to be a year of new initiatives, collaborations, and activities aimed at strengthening Le Capezzine's role as a hub for exchange and innovation for the agriculture of the future.
Avignonesi is one of the most representative organic and biodynamic wineries in Italy. A Benefit Corporation and certified B Corp , it bases every production decision on the principles of social and environmental sustainability, responsibility, and respect for the land. The wines, produced entirely from estate-grown grapes, authentically express the terroir and the philosophy that has guided the company's vision for years.
