From 8th to 14th June 2015. Viticulture and Oenology of quality in the Amerino area "Vite, Vino, Vita di qualità" ("Vine, Wine, Quality Life"): this is the slogan of the Ameliadoc Association that is going to open its doors of the tenth edition of the event of the same name. A week dedicated to sensory exploring and conviviality, during which professionals, experts or simply enthusiasts can learn more about a rich and generous territory. Thematic studies, tastings, wine tours, cooking shows, workshops, educational, through which to emphasize all that contributes to make the Amerino district unique. The partnership with Slow Food Umbria and the participation of the Slowine circuit will result in experiences in a social fabric characterized by simplicity of peasant origin, where nature is still an integral part of man’s daily life, and the landscape is a common heritage. One in all, the cooking show during which, in the wonderful setting of the sixteenth century Farrattini Palace, Chef Paolo Trippini will create a stylish and spectacular gastronomic journey: "Wild herbs meet Haute Cuisine". To toast to the tenth edition of the event, Ameliadoc opens its doors to a special guest. At the Art Gallery of the Archaeological Museum there will be a tasting of the Reserve Collection of Cantina Ferrari – Trento wines. Giampaolo Gravina (journalist and deputy editor of the "Wines of Italy" Guide of L’Espresso) and Ruben Larentis (oenologist of Cantina Ferrari Trento) will lead the audience in the tasting. On Sunday, grand finale at the cloister of Saint Francis. From 11:00 a.m. to the evening, in the shade of the porch you can taste the wines of the 20 wineries present and taste typical local products. During the day, three dates with a Tasting of Slow Food Presidia in combination with wines of the Orvieto district (h 12:00 a.m.; 4:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m.) Throughout the event, "At the Table with Ameliadoc". A selected network of farms, restaurants and taverns will put in the pot, and in the glass, the culinary excellence of the territory, offering their own interpretation of typical products and of Slow Food Presidia together with Condotta Slow Food Terre Dell’Umbria Meridionale and Condotta di Orvieto.
