100 NOTES IN ROSA FESTIVAL IN VERONA MUSIC AND WINE FOR THE GOODBYE TO SUMMER AND WELCOME TO AUTUMN

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September in Verona , on the large tree-lined lawn of the Bastione di San Bernardino , the 100 Note in Rosa Festival arrives: from 12 to 21 you can taste and buy the Chiaretto and Bardolino of about twenty producers accompanied by music from I live with some of the best Veronese artists. “It is a way to greet the departing summer with Chiaretto and welcome autumn with Bardolino”, says Franco Cristoforetti , president of the Consortium for the protection of Chiaretto and Bardolino. The 100 Note in Rosa Festival is part of the program of the Mura Festival , scheduled in Verona until the end of October, and ideally closes 100 Note in Rosa , the long musical review that accompanied, from 21 June to 21 September, the summer evenings in center of Verona. It is one of the most complex initiatives dedicated to wine that have ever taken place in Verona and probably also outside the city of Verona, with on average more than one event a day for three months. The event, which had the Chiaretto di Bardolino as its main theme, saw about fifty artists from the Veronese music scene perform on the stalls in the city center, with the aim of helping to relaunch the restaurants and taverns, but also the activities artistic, after the lockdown. “The welcome that Verona gave to our Chiaretto was exciting - underlines Cristoforetti - and it seemed right to us to sanction the conclusion of this beautiful experience with a new city event”. The weekend of the 100 Note in Rosa Festival is organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Chiaretto and Bardolino with the participation of the Consortium of Monte Veronese DOP cheese. As for 100 Note in Rosa, the artistic direction is entrusted to DOC Servizi, while the coordination is by Studioventisette. The cost of the entrance ticket for the 100 Note in Rosa Festival is 10 euros and includes a glass with four samples of Chiaretto or Bardolino. Admission to the Mura Festival , an event that benefits from the patronage of the Municipality of Verona, is instead free. The street food area is also in operation with a series of food trucks. At 9 pm the stands of the wine producers will close, but the music of the Mura Festival will continue. In case of bad weather the event will take place inside the nearby historic building of Porta Palio.
