RAIN OF AWARDS FOR UMBRIAN WINES FROM NATIONAL GUIDES

The exceptional quality of Umbrian wines is confirmed once again through the prestigious awards given by authoritative Italian wine guides. The expertise and passion of the winemakers have been recognized and exalted by numerous awards, highlighting the fruit of careful work and uncompromising dedication. " The awards obtained - comments Massimo Sepiacci , President of Umbria Top - reflect a production philosophy deeply rooted in the excellence and uniqueness of our territory. These awards are not only symbols of quality; they are evidence of the leadership position that our wineries have conquered in the Italian wine sector, thanks to a constant commitment to methods that respect and enhance the environment and Umbrian culture ". Founded in 2009, Umbria Top acts as a true ambassador of Umbrian wine, representing 118 entities including wineries and the 4 Consortia of Protection that represent Torgiano, Montefalco, Trasimeno, and Orvieto. Committed to the promotion of DOCG, DOC and IGT wines, the cooperative is dedicated to supporting its wineries on the path to excellence, ensuring a distinctive presence on both national and international markets. To date, the wines represented by Umbria Top have received dozens of Awards, a recognition of the value and quality that these products are able to offer. Among the guides that have awarded such honors are Gambero Rosso , which has given 17 awards to Umbrian wines (Tre Bicchieri – lists reported below), the Doctor Wine Guide, which has three Umbrian producers who have won 3 stars as well as many wines included in the Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2025 and Guida Veronelli , which has awarded the special Gold Guide prize as well as 9 3 Gold Stars awards, which are given to wines that have obtained a score equal to or greater than 94 cents. “ These awards are an additional incentive to engage Umbria Top not only in promotional activities but also in all those contexts that allow us to present the sector in its community, grouping together the wines of our producers with reading strategies and techniques also linked to the world of sommeliers and technical tasting ,” concludes Sepiacci.

The Umbria Top initiatives are included in the initiatives to promote certified Umbrian production promoted by the Umbria Top Wines Cooperative as part of the CSR Umbria 2023-2027 measure – intervention SRG10 “Promotion of quality products”.
