Wine Market of Independent Winegrowers 2013

The 3rd Wine Market of Independent Winegrowers will take place in Piacenza on Saturday, 30th November, and Sunday, 1st December 2013: two days to learn, taste and purchase the craft wines by Independent Winegrowers.

30th November and 1st December are two days dedicated to meetings, tastings, and to the direct sale of wines: all the winemakers will be present personally to give the opportunity to taste their wines, tell their own land, sell their own bottles. An opportunity to develop the culture of wine: the Wine Market of Independent Winegrowers is not a market like any other, it is the fair of Independent Winegrowers where visitors can discover and taste craft wines from all over Italy.

“To us, Independent Winegrowers, the Wine Market is an opportunity to build a direct relationship with the people who drink wine, to become known and to emphasize the craftsmanship and the uniqueness of our wines. The Wine Market is also a time to meet colleagues who throughout Italy do the same work and share our passion”.

The Winegrower is one of the central figures of contemporary wine. His/her existence is essential to ensure consumers a wine that has a strong attachment to the land. The Winegrower cultivates his/her own grapes and hence the origin of his/her wine is guaranteed by the efforts made in the vineyard and in the cellar by the vigneron. Origin is not a secondary factor, especially if you want to drink a wine that is really wine and not a simple drink.

The Wine Market of Independent Winegrowers is an initiative of the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers that aims to represent the figure of the Winegrower among institutions, promoting the quality and the authenticity of Italian wines. We want winemakers to remain in the territory to make wine, to preserve the terroir, to defend the landscape, to the great joy of consumers.
