Wine Fair: Piacenza Expo presents the technical committee

The Fiera dei Vini , a market exhibition scheduled from 18 to 20 November 2023 in Piacenza Expo , announces the technical committee set up to guarantee the quality of the participating companies. They include Cristina Micheloni , agronomist, researcher and consultant for organic agriculture in European projects, with a past as head of the Scientific Committee of AIAB - Italian Association of Organic Agriculture, Antonello Maietta , Former President of AIS - Italian Sommelier Association, journalist and food and wine popularizer, and Fosca Tortorelli , journalist, taster, ALMA-AIS Master Sommelier and deputy delegate of the Women of Wine Association for the Campania Region. Different training, experiences and territorial skills of the three components will allow a 360° approach and will guarantee an oenological proposal capable of enhancing the qualities of the territories. In less than a month from the opening of registrations , over 150 companies have already applied for participation, of which 25% are organic . There will also be a pavilion dedicated to the Artisans of Food , who will bring selected gastronomic proposals from all over Italy. “We are satisfied with the excellent response from the producers at the Mostra Mercato – declares Sergio Copelli , director of Piacenza Expo – We are particularly happy with the high number of participating organic wineries , for which we have provided a dedicated section , inspired by Millesimé Bio , international fair of organic wines of Montpellier (France)”. Alessandra Bottani , event manager, continues: “It is still possible to apply , subject to availability, by filling out the form on the website www.fieradeivini.it; the technical committee will examine the requests in order to have the final list of participants by September”. The Piacenza Expo Wine Fair is the market exhibition designed to let winelovers discover new companies and new territories, through a comfortable and functional itinerary that focuses on the visitor's experience and allows you to buy directly from producers. An event on a human scale , easy to reach and with 1000 trolleys available for purchases in view of Christmas gifts, to choose quality bottles and replenish one's cellars for lunches and dinners to remember.
