On Sunday, 24th May, in the fourteenth–century Castel dell’Ovo, the eleventh edition of Vitignoitalia opens in Naples, the Exhibition of Italian wines and wine–growing territories, showcase and business opportunity for over 150 national wine companies that now, for 11 years, have been chosen Naples to present their wine production, to explore new markets and to consolidate those acquired.
With the support of ExpòMilano 2015, this edition significantly strengthens the business orientation: it reaches agreements with
Unioncamere Campania, ICE and BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas. The goal is to foster the
development opportunities in foreign markets and direct contact with international buyers. It is not only an exceptional showcase in one of Italy’s most beautiful historical sites, but a time for discussion and opportunity for economic development for the wine sector.
Already from the 2014 edition, the collaboration with the ICE continues and is strengthened. ICE is an Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies which will select
buyers, journalists and international stakeholders in order to facilitate international relations to SMEs.
Unioncamere Campania, the voice of a production system of 500,000 businesses active in all sectors, for years has been taking part in and supported the Exhibition and this year will be present with an exclusive space to provide opportunities to 30 companies from the five provinces of the region.
BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas is instead, from this year, the new partner of Vitignoitalia, supporting the wine producing companies: for three days it will be in Castel dell’Ovo with its consultants in the business, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to present its own financial products and offer One To One advice to producers.
Thanks to the two–year agreement signed with ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas aims to support and train the Italian companies that want to operate in international markets with the
objective of encouraging the development of internationalization processes.
No less significant, among the actions undertaken this year by Vitignoitalia, is the partnership with the
Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, which recently launched the portal
www.WineandTravelItaly.com for the promotion of wine and wine tourism in Italy. The focus of the project are three key markets like North America, Canada and the USA.
Vitignoitalia will open on Sunday, 24th May, and will continue until Tuesday 26 with the consolidated format of previous editions: for three days the Castel dell’Ovo, Unesco heritage, will be open to the public in the afternoon while the mornings will be reserved for foreign operators and OneToOne trading, that are taking place behind closed doors in the buyers hall of the castle. 5,000 invited domestic companies and 25 accredited international buyers.
In step with the Environment issue raised at Expo, for the fourth consecutive year Vitignoitalia embraces the ambitious sustainability project to minimize the environmental impact of the event.
Even this year the schedule of events and conferences is shaping dense.
