Vino Nobile 2015 Preview

The Preview has been, for over twenty years now, a must for industry operators and also an opportunity to "celebrate" for Montepulciano, for its people, for wine tourists, enthusiasts and connoisseurs of the quality products of the territory. For this reason, during the event, the Strada del Vino Nobile has created collateral activities that will involve the whole tourism system of Montepulciano.

For the second year, the Happy hour with the Rosso di Montepulciano DOC returns: aperitif with Bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil at a special price at six wine bars and cafes in the town (Enoteca Consorzio Vino Nobile; Lucean le stelle; La Bottega del Nobile; Caffé Poliziano; Caffé Stella; La Crocetta).

The showcases of the shops in the old town that will participate in the Belle Vetrine competition will be colourful again: for this edition the shopkeepers will present thematic showcases in their stores, the pictures of the windows will be exhibited at the Fortress and then be voted on by the public participant in the Preview on Sunday 15th February. The first prize is a weekend in Verona during the Vinitaly period. The photos of the finalists will be published on the website of the Strada del Vino Nobile.

Moreover, the accommodation facilities partners of the Strada del Vino Nobile will offer special tours, "Weekend Preview", that among the various advantages will provide free entry to the event. Soon, the most favourable packages will be published.

The producers of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Consortium present in preview the new vintages of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
