Vinitaly 2014

Vinitaly is the main reference event for the wine industry, in the 2013 edition it hosted over 4,000 exhibitors, recording 148 thousand visitors, of whom 52,979 foreigners from 120 countries.

Four days of major events, festivals, tastings and workshops aimed at the meeting of the exhibiting wineries with the operators of the sector, together with a rich conference program that addresses and explores the issues related to supply and demand in Italy, Europe and in the rest of the world.

Special exhibition areas at Vinitaly 2014

Vinitalybio: an area dedicated exclusively to the production of certified organic and biodynamic wine.

Not only national organic wine, at Vinitalybio you will know and appreciate the international production.

Vi Vi T: Vinitaly presents the third edition of Vivit – Vigne Vignaioli Terroir. Vivit is synonymous with handcrafted wine that expresses the flavor of the land where it is created.

International Buyers’ Lounge: The International Buyers’ Lounge is an exclusive area dedicated to the foreign visitor where to know and to taste selected Italian wines.

Taste Italy by Doctor Wine: Taste Italy by Doctor Wine is the tasting–event that presents the Italian excellence: red, white and sparkling wines. Within the area many daily appointments.

Area Sensoriali: a new area divided into three sections: Grappa & C. Tasting, Coffee Experience and Narratori del Gusto. This year, focus on dessert wines and balsamic vinegar of Modena.

To maintain the highest professional standards, Vinitaly is open exclusively to trade operators: entry is not allowed to children under 18 years, even if accompanied. Registration is mandatory.
