Vinifera Trento: Pro.Sit arrives. – Tasting Ideas in a Professional Situation, a day dedicated to wine professionals

Vinifera , the Market Exhibition dedicated to wines and foods from the Alpine area, scheduled at Trento Fiere on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March 2023, enriches its tried and tested offer with Pro.Sit. – Tasting Ideas in a Professional Situation , an event designed for wine professionals. An acronym that lets you glimpse not only the focus of the novelty of this fifth edition but also the international scope that the event is increasingly assuming. Pro. Sit. will be held on Monday 27 March , from 10.30 to 17.00, at the Muse – Trento Science Museum , entirely reserved for the event. It will be an opportunity for comparisons and tastings , creating new relationship opportunities in a more intimate situation and a more direct dialogue between the winemaking chain and the over 80 artisan winemakers present. Access will be free for operators in the sector , owners of wine bars, restaurants, bars and accommodation facilities, distributors, traders and sommeliers ( bit.ly/vinifera-prosit-accrediti-operatori ). The entrance ticket for the public, including a glass for accessing the tastings and a small glass holder, will cost 15 euros and can be purchased at the link bit.ly/vinifera-prosit . The host territory of this edition will be Etna , represented by a selected roster of six producers who with their wines will also be protagonists of a dedicated masterclass . “We chose the Etna area as the host of our 2023 Market Exhibition because we believe it has features in common with the territories to which Vinifera is dedicated – explains Luisa Tomasini , spokeswoman for the Centrifuge Association which organizes the event – The important altitudes of the vineyards, located mainly between 300 and 1000 meters, and the unique environment where they are located brings this wine area closer to the peculiarity of the cultivations of the Alpine arc”. Vinifera is the event that brings together over 100 Italian and foreign winemakers , with an expanded presence of producers from France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia and numerous food artisans. In this edition, the deep link between agriculture and the Alpine territory will be highlighted even more through a rich calendar of masterclasses and insights. Furthermore, in the month preceding the event, the Forum Vinifera will take place as usual with events, tastings, conferences and guided tours throughout the Trentino area, from the Adige Valley to the Val di Non. The first appointment will be held on Friday 24 February at the Bellaveder winery in Faedo . The beneficial aspect of Vinifera is renewed in support of a social project in the area. During the events of the Forum Vinifera and the Mostra Mercato, from 24 February to 26 March , there will be spaces and moments dedicated to fundraising for the Anti-Violence Center - Women's Coordination Association Onlus of Trento . Other activities such as the sale of special bottles and artistic creations will also be organised. Furthermore, the entire proceeds from Vinifera merchandising, which will be sold during the two days of the Mostra Mercato (t-shirts, bags, pockets and guides), will be donated to the non-profit organization. The event will take place in collaboration with the PIWI Trentino Association, the Winegrowers of Trentino, La Foresta Community Academy, BaBa Cultural Association, Guarda Mamma, senza sulfiti!, Sartoria De L'ucia, Frammenti Serigrafia, Navarini – Museo del Rame, Ais Trentino and Muse – Science Museum.
