VinidAmare 2014

During the weekend, from the promenade to the marina of the fishing village, with its typical pastel houses, you will live convivial moments, dedicated to those who want to learn more about the regional food and wine and witness the challenge for the title of Best Sommelier in Liguria.

For the 2014 edition (Camogli, 23rd to 26th May) VinidAmare opens to foreign markets: guests of this editions will be the wines of Slovenia. With the support of the Slovenian Consulate, the event will host in Camogli a delegation of producers of the European country that is among the most engaged in the development and promotion of winemaking. The international openness is the willingness to offer new options: cultural, economic and tourism opportunities. VinidAmare can be considered the funded showcase of the Ligurian wine, expression of producers and their territory, thus the perfect opportunity to introduce themselves to a foreign nation.

" VinidAmare Dinners". Some restaurants and wine shops of Camogli will welcome, for the occasion, a Ligurian producer and an AIS Sommelier for a meeting of local cuisine and wines.

6:30 p.m. Terrazza dei Bagni Lido in promenade: “Music, tradition and wine”

Evening dedicated to music and tales of the tradition. “Tasting of the Sons of a lesser God” (Lumassina, Mataossu, Buzetto, Bianchetta and Albarola).



Sunday, 25th May

Cenobio dei Dogi Hotel, Camogli

10:00 a.m. “The "classic" and fine soul of Liguria”. The producers will tell their classic method sparkling wine.

12:00 a.m. “Eretics and visionaries or faithful interpreters of the territory?” The producers tell their "outlawed" wines.

7:00 p.m. Terrazza dei Bagni Lido in Promenade, the final challenge of the Best Sommelier and Best Professional Sommelier in Liguria 2014 Competition will take place.



Monday, 26th May

Portofino Kulm Hotel:

9:45 a.m. Round Table: “Vinodomani – Strategies and innovation for the development of viticulture in Liguria”

11:00 a.m. VinidAmare opening and inauguration

4:00 p.m. Guided tasting: “Liguria loves its raisin wines”

The shuttle bus service, free, will operate on Monday 16th May for the whole duration of the event. Departure from the station of Camogli to and from Portofino Kulm. Times 9:30 a.m./7:00 p.m.



Cost of the entry ticket

€ 10 including tasting glass and personalized pocket, notebook for tastings and a pen.

Admission is free for members of A.I.S. in compliance with the payment of membership dues and for specialized press members regularly accredited. Entry for tastings: € 15
