There are 50 producers from all Italian regions that have gathered on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March in Rome for VINI DI VIGNAIOLI, the Fair of Natural wines. For tasting (you can also buy them) unique and evocative wines of some of the most interesting Italian territories.
The winemakers are behind the tasting tables in direct contact with the public to tell their products through their choice to work with nature in the vineyard and in the winery.
The wine artisans have gathered in the heart of the capital, in the Testaccio district, in Largo Dino Frisullo, at the "Città dell’Altra Economia" to present their natural wine, that comes from grapes grown without the use of chemicals, both in the vineyard and in the winery operations. In the manifesto of the event, ten adjectives to describe the wine offered for tasting: natural, true, sincere, organic, biodynamic, passionate, authentic, simple, rich, human.
Two intense days where visitors can taste and buy unique and evocative wines, produced with respect for the land and grapes, far from the industrial logic and approvals of taste but with the care, attention and time required by the craftsmanship. The event was organized directly by the winemakers who will be behind the tasting counters, in direct contact with the public.
The aim of the fair is to promote direct contact between producer and consumer, in strict compliance with a organic and biodynamic farming, made of natural yeasts and spontaneous fermentation.
The tastings will be free and the price of admission was intentionally contained in 10 Euros.
"Città dell’Altra Economia" provides visitors 3,500 square meters dedicated to exhibitions and other services and is one of the first spaces in Europe entirely dedicated to economic practices that are characterized by the use of processes with low environmental impact.
