The event, which traditionally takes place in the context of the "Hotel" fair, is today the most important event organized by the winemakers of Alto Adige. This year too, in fact, there will be over seventy four winemakers present with their respective wines, while the Collio wine region, in Friuli, will be present with nine producers as guests. In addition to the wines, there will be the opportunity to taste a selection of cheeses thanks to the collaboration with "Degust".
The philosophy is characterized by the fact that the winemakers of Alto Adige bring together in their own hands all the phases necessary for the production of wine. Consequently, together with their families, they take care of the work in the vineyards, produce their own wines and also manage the entire administrative and marketing process. Great expertise is therefore required along the entire supply chain, from start to finish, whether it is defoliation operations, maturation in the cellar or planning for the future.
This last aspect is particularly important to the winemakers of Alto Adige, because all family-run companies are part of the association. For this reason, sustainability, in all its facets, has a truly special role for the winemakers of Alto Adige who wish to leave to the next generation not only an intact ecosystem at the vineyard level, but also an economically profitable activity. This means that even every investment of a certain size in the company, in the cellar or in the vineyard, is always made with an eye towards (and for) generations to come.
Visitors can discover all this again this year during “Vinea Tirolensis”: Wednesday 25 October, from 10am to 5pm, in room H1 of the Bolzano Fair
