  • 19/10/2021

Watchwords: wine, market, tourism and digitalization, always having as a reference the human factor and the growing quality of the entire supply chain.

At Vinitaly Special Edition 2021 the message of Vinarius , the Association of Italian wine bars arrives loud and clear which yesterday, during the meeting in the Rossini Room "The wine shop of the next 40 years. Wine, Tourism, Territory, Digitization, Agri-food craftsmanship " has investigated what will be the evolution of the wine shop of the future. "What emerged - explains Andrea Terraneo President of the Association - was a real identikit of the wine shop for the next forty years: a wine shop interconnected with the world, capable of being an ambassador for the territory and spokesperson for a supply chain that is always more synergistic and of quality. An actor in the system capable of influencing the enhancement strategies of the various brands that also passes through an effective and structured dialogue with the territory and with the various players in the supply chain. " A parterre of exceptional speakers that animated yesterday's conference and to which the President Terraneo wanted to send his heartfelt thanks: "as an Association we are truly honored by the great participation registered at the meeting by members, producers and the press. , this is synonymous with how much the topic is considered of central interest for the sector. I sincerely thank all the speakers present, both in presence and at a distance, who have given a decisive contribution to the event. What emerged strongly - says Terraneo - is that the wine shop of today and even more so that of tomorrow is no longer just a commercial reality but instead a reality inserted in a much more complex fabric where different sectors intersect that must be able to create synergies and value. A wine shop that, as Magda Antonioli Corigliano, professor of Macroeconomics and Economics of Tourism at Bocconi University explained to us, will have to become a real "hub t ra cellars and territory "to meet the needs of a tourist who increasingly seeks the opportunity to live authentic experiences, a" way of living "rather than a" way of life ". Food and wine, therefore, but also tourism and the agri-food sector, all connected by the growing digitalization and technological innovation that today the wine shop is called to internalize and decline into different tools capable of capitalizing on this will to narrate to give it a global dimension. At the same time, what today must be the main factors of governance and growth of the sector were highlighted, both at the company level of the wine companies and at the level of the territories and associations involved. Two essential ingredients are fundamental to succeeding in the company: a certain regulatory framework and investments, also in training and professional growth. "" Vinarius too - Terraneo concludes - as an association will evolve hand in hand, becoming a central subject for what I hope will become the its growing ability to collect, read, analyze and interpret data relating to consumer preferences and trends ". The message issued by the Convention was reinforced by the words of Dr. Milena Piasente, Delegate of the Minister of Tourism Hon. Garavaglia who brought the Minister's greetings and intervened at the end of the report to thank the numerous ideas that emerged which she took note and confirming the openness of the new ministry to the issues exposed. To animate the conference, in addition to Professor Magda Antonioli Corigliano of Bocconi, intervened : Carlo Hausmann, expert in rural development, typical food production ed farmhouse; Tabita Miotto, of Butterfield & Robinson, a Canadian tour operator; Aldo Borelli, scientific director and general manager of R&D management, expert in digitalization; Maurizio Zanella, President of Ca 'del Bosco, producer in Franciacorta. All moderated by Andrea Pamparana, Italian journalist, writer and radio host, currently deputy director of TG5, to whom, at the end of the talks, President Terraneo awarded the Vinarius Award as "ambassador" of Italian wine bars.
