Villa Favorita 2013

Villa Favorita is a unique event which offers a structured tasting journey to deepen the knowledge or start learning about natural wines. It is the most important event of natural wines in Europe. During the event, European winemakers meet, who have the common goal of sharing techniques and experiences to produce wine in a natural way, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and spread the culture of "terroir". Each visitor will have the opportunity to meet and know the producers, as well as to buy directly by them the wine in tasting. The Villa Favorita event was conceived, therefore, as a natural result of the growing commitment for spreading a new culture of wine.

Guided tastings

During each day of the Fair a guided tasting of special wines will take place. The tastings will be in the conference room, which can host a small number of people, those who will book with the form on this page.

The program is as follows:

- Saturday, 6th April, 4:00 pm - The soul of the volcano. Eight wines from great volcanic terroir, Irpinia, Etna, Gambellara, the Euganean Hills, Soave.
Tasting led by Andrea Ugolotti.
The Volcanics with the Volcano. Eight volcanic souls interpret these lands, in an authentic tour of Italy. Explosions, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions ... The volcanic eruptions generate wonder, and men can close it in a bottle. Smells and scents merge, tastes and flavours blend, to us the pleasure of meeting them. WINE LIST AND DETAILS

- Sunday, 7th April, 4:00 pm - Vin Santo, a tradition to be rediscovered, thanks to the support of modern science.

- Monday, 8th April, 4:00 pm - Ten wines of ten years ago. Natural wines with ten years or more of aging.
Tasting led by Andrea Ugolotti.
Ten years, ten stories, each has its own, each one different. No one knew exactly the way, just knew that it was necessary to go ahead, search. These wines are here to witness, through their being, ten or more years of experience related to the natural emotions of life and nature, paths changed with time and gestures repeated to infinity. Ten years, ten wines, ten stories.


The tastings have the cost of Euro 40 each and include the entry to the show. You can participate only by reservation, by filling this registration form. The tastings have limited number of people!
