Venice Verso Expo

5th March – "VERSO VENICE TO EXPO" BETWEEN HISTORY OF VENETIAN VINEGROWING AND MYSTERY



It is an event that combines the history of viticulture, the recovery of ancient vines of the Serenissima Republic and the mystery of an exciting detective story, the one organized by the Venice Wines Consortium on 5th March at the Convent of the Discalced Carmelites of Venice. Starting from 11.00, in this charming location, "Verso Venice to Expo" will be on stage, the event which will illustrate the project that led to sample and reproduce ancient vines of the Laguna, recounted in the book "Wine in the History of Venice". During the round table the crime novel by Giovanni Negri entitled "The Da Vinci Vineyard" will be presented, which has as protagonist Attilio Scienza, the professor who played a key role in the project that has revived the viticulture of the land of the Doges.
